Creating connections is Triunfo's business. The Company contributes to improving the infrastructure in Brazil through projects in the highway, port, airport and energy segments, guided by a sustainable growth strategy. In 2015, the 5,400 professionals at Triunfo worked to shorten distances and provide safety and speed to clients and users.
Triunfo believes that the performance of its business and creation of value for its stakeholders directly depend on ethical and honest management. That is why it is aligned with the best corporate governance practices in the market to guarantee the rights of shareholders and ensure the quality of information published about its operations. The Company's commitment to ethics was reinforced in 2015 with the launch of the Triunfo Integrity Program, which includes guidelines to combat corruption in all its forms.
Triunfo remained resilient amidst the prevailing economic and political instability in Brazil in 2015. From the economic and financial standpoint, the Company posted adjusted net revenue of R$1.6 billion in 2015.
Ethics, transparency and responsibility are the foundations of the relationship between Triunfo and all its stakeholders. Triunfo is aware of its role in society and hence closely monitors the positive and negative impacts of its operations through dialogue with all stakeholder groups to effectively contribute to the sustainable development of the regions where it operates. While fostering this development, such practices help reduce risks related to the Company's reputation, human capital and value chain, among others.
Respect for the environment is a fundamental value for the company and is one of the commitments established in the Triunfo Sustainability Policy. At Triunfo companies, compliance with laws and the conditions established in operating licenses of projects is combined with proactive initiatives focused on the rational use of natural resources and the monitoring of environmental performance indicators.
